Admission Process Flow
Admissions to dental programs at SOA are strictly merit-based. 1. For BDS, candidates must qualify for the NEET-UG entrance exam and participate in the centralized counseling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for Deemed Universities. 2. For MDS, candidates must qualify for the NEET-MDS exam and attend the MCC counseling process. 3. Final seat allocation is determined by the candidate's rank, preference, and seat availability. 4. Post-allotment, candidates must report to the campus for document verification and fee payment.
General Eligibility Criteria
BDS: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (40% for SC/ST/OBC) and must be at least 17 years old. MDS: Applicants must hold a BDS degree from a DCI-recognized institution and have completed their compulsory one-year rotating internship by the time of admission. Qualification in NEET-MDS is mandatory for all applicants.
