Admission Process Flow
Admissions to the Purvanchal Institute of Dental Sciences are strictly merit-based and follow national standards. Candidates must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the NTA. Following the NEET results, candidates must participate in the Uttar Pradesh NEET (UP NEET) counseling process conducted by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), UP. Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, choice preferences, and category-wise reservation policies. After seat allotment, candidates must undergo document verification and medical fitness tests at the institute before final fee payment.
General Eligibility Criteria
For the BDS program, applicants must have completed 10+2 (Class 12) from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects. A minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB is required for General category candidates, while 40% is the requirement for SC/ST/OBC categories. Additionally, candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the year of admission. For diploma courses, completion of the 10+2 examination is necessary.
