Admission Process Flow
Admissions at PEC Chandigarh are strictly merit-based through national-level entrance examinations. For B.Tech programs, candidates must qualify for JEE Main and participate in the JoSAA/CSAB counseling or the Joint Admission Counseling (JAC) Chandigarh. M.Tech admissions are conducted through GATE scores via the CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech) portal. Ph.D. admissions are based on a written test followed by a personal interview. International students are admitted through the DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) scheme.
General Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational subject, securing at least 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST). A valid JEE Main rank is mandatory. For M.Tech: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA and a valid GATE score. For Ph.D.: A Master's degree in a relevant field with at least 60% aggregate marks.
