Admission Process Flow
The admission process at PDEU varies by course. For B.Tech programs, 33% of seats are filled through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) based on GUJCET, 52% through All India Seats based on JEE Main scores, and 15% through NRI/NRI-sponsored quotas. For MBA programs, candidates must have a valid score in CAT, XAT, NMAT, or MAT, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview. M.Tech admissions are primarily based on GATE scores. For the School of Liberal Studies, admission is granted based on an entrance test and personal interview conducted by the university. Applications for the 2025-26 cycle typically open in January.
General Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science, securing at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). For MBA: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST). For M.Tech: A relevant B.E./B.Tech degree with a minimum of 50% marks and a valid GATE score is preferred. For Liberal Studies: Successful completion of 10+2 from a recognized board in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks.
