Admission Process Flow
The admission process at MAHER is primarily entrance-based for its flagship medical and dental programs. For MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, and MDS, candidates must apply through the official website and qualify for the respective National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Following the results, eligible candidates must participate in the centralized counseling conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of the DGHS or the state selection committee. For undergraduate programs in Allied Health Sciences, Nursing, and Humanities, admission is generally merit-based, determined by marks obtained in the qualifying 10+2 examinations.
General Eligibility Criteria
For BDS and MBBS: Applicants must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, securing a minimum of 50% marks (40% for reserved categories) and must possess a valid NEET UG score. For MDS: Candidates must hold a BDS degree from a recognized dental college and a valid NEET MDS score. For Nursing and Physiotherapy (B.Sc/BPT): 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum aggregate of 45% to 50%.
