Admission Process Flow
The admission process at MCODS Mangalore is primarily entrance-based. For the BDS program, candidates must qualify for the NEET UG exam and participate in the centralized counseling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). For MDS programs, candidates must qualify for the NEET MDS exam. Applicants must register on the official MAHE website and fill out the application form (fee approx. ₹600). After the release of NEET results, candidates must select MCODS Mangalore during the choice-filling phase of the MCC counseling for Deemed Universities. Final admission is granted based on seat allotment, document verification, and fee payment.
General Eligibility Criteria
For BDS: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC). A valid NEET UG score is mandatory. For MDS: Candidates must possess a BDS degree from a DCI-recognized university and must have completed a one-year compulsory rotatory internship. A valid NEET MDS score is required. For Certificate Courses: Candidates must have a BDS degree from a recognized institution.
