Admission Process Flow
Admissions at K L University are primarily entrance-based. For B.Tech programs, candidates must qualify for the Koneru Lakshmaiah Engineering Entrance Examination (KLEEE), or submit valid scores from JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or state-level exams like AP EAPCET/TS EAMCET. Admission to M.Tech programs requires a valid GATE score or success in the KLU Entrance Test. For Management programs, scores from CAT, MAT, XAT, or KLMAT are accepted. The process involves filling out an online application form with a non-refundable fee of INR 1,000, followed by counseling sessions and personal interviews where applicable. International and NRI students have a separate application track based on academic merit and English proficiency.
General Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with a minimum aggregate of 60% and 60% in group subjects. Candidates with Biology instead of Mathematics are eligible for B.Tech in Bio-Technology and Food Technology. For M.Tech: A Bachelor's degree (B.E/B.Tech) in the relevant discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks is required. For MBA: A graduation degree with 55% marks and a valid entrance score is necessary. Candidates must also satisfy any age or domicile requirements specified by the university or the respective entrance exam boards.
