Admissions to the Faculty of Dentistry are strictly merit-based and conducted through national-level entrance examinations.
- BDS Admission: Candidates must qualify for the NEET-UG examination. Counseling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for 100% of the seats.
- MDS Admission: Candidates must qualify for the NEET-MDS examination followed by MCC counseling.
- Eligibility: For BDS, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least 50% marks (40% for reserved categories).
- Quota System: JMI follows a specific reservation policy including Muslim Quota (30%), Muslim Women (10%), Muslim OBC/ST (10%), Internal Jamia Students, and PwD (5%).
