Admission Process Flow
Admissions to the undergraduate (B.Tech and B.Chem.Engg) programs are handled through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. 70% of the seats are allotted to Maharashtra state candidates based on MHT-CET scores, while 30% are open to All India candidates based on JEE Main Paper 1 scores. Postgraduate admissions (M.Tech/M.Chem.Engg/M.Pharm) require valid GATE or GPAT scores, followed by institutional-level counseling. PhD admissions involve a written entrance test followed by a personal interview.
General Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech/B.Chem.Engg: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject, securing at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories). For M.Tech: A Bachelor's degree in the relevant field of Engineering or Technology with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) and a valid GATE/GPAT score. For PhD: A Master's degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks.
