Admission Process Flow
1. Undergraduate (B.Tech/BS): Admission is strictly through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced. Candidates must first qualify JEE Main to appear for JEE Advanced. Seat allocation is managed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). 2. Postgraduate (M.Tech): Candidates must have a valid GATE score and apply through the COAP portal. Some sponsored or executive programs may involve a written test and interview. 3. Postgraduate (M.Sc): Admission is based on the IIT-JAM (Joint Admission Test for Masters) score followed by CCMN counseling. 4. BBA/B.Sc (Hybrid): Admission is based on scores from CUET, JEE Main, SAT, or the IITP-SAT entrance test followed by a personal interview. 5. PhD: Admission is conducted twice a year (Autumn and Spring semesters) based on GATE/NET scores, written tests, and faculty interviews.
General Eligibility Criteria
1. B.Tech/BS: Completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates must secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. 2. M.Tech: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CPI. 3. M.Sc: A Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD). 4. BBA/B.Sc (Hons): 10+2 with a minimum of 60% cumulative marks. 5. PhD: A Master's degree in Engineering/Technology/Science/Humanities with a consistently good academic record.
