Admission Process Flow
Admissions to IIT Palakkad are strictly merit-based and conducted through national-level entrance examinations. For the B.Tech program, candidates must qualify for JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced, with seat allocation managed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). General Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing a minimum of 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or being in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. For M.Tech: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) and a valid GATE score is required. For M.Sc.: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant science discipline with a valid JAM score is necessary. For PhD: A Master's degree in Engineering/Technology or Sciences with a strong academic record and qualifying scores in GATE/NET/UGC-JRF.
