A minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST) in a relevant undergraduate degree (B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent) from a recognized university.Valid GATE score (from 2024, 2025, or 2026) OR must qualify the BITS HD online test. BITS HD test is compulsory for programs like M.E. Software Systems and M.E. Environmental Engineering.For M.Pharm. programs, a valid GPAT score or BITS HD test is accepted.Candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree in a relevant field as specified by the program.

Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.)

Any integrated First Degree of BITS or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.Specific programs like M.Phil. in Public Health may have additional requirements (e.g., M.B.B.S., B.D.S, M.Sc. Nursing).Must have a relevant bachelor's or master's degree from a recognized university.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharm./MBA/M.Phil. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.M.Sc./B.E./B.Pharm. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.For Humanities and Social Sciences, candidates with an M.A. degree and a minimum of 55% aggregate marks may apply.Part-time applicants require a minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
