Admission Process Flow
Admission to Integrated First Degree programs is primarily through the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT), a national-level computer-based online test. BITSAT is typically conducted in two sessions. Additionally, the institute offers direct admission to first-rank holders (Board Toppers) of all Central and State boards in India, regardless of their BITSAT score. Higher Degree admissions are based on BITS HD or GATE/GPAT scores.
General Eligibility Criteria
For B.E. and M.Sc. programs, candidates must have passed the 12th examination of the 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. They must have secured a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in PCM and at least 60% marks in each of these subjects individually. For B.Pharm, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) are required with similar percentage thresholds. Candidates must also be proficient in English.
