Admission Process Flow
For undergraduate (B.E./B.Tech) courses, admissions are primarily conducted through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) single-window counseling process based on 10+2 merit scores. Candidates must apply through the official TNEA portal. For postgraduate programs (M.E./M.Tech/MBA), admission is based on scores from entrance exams such as TANCET, GATE, or CEETA PG. Management quota seats are also available for eligible candidates who meet the institute's specific criteria and qualifying marks.
General Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to B.E./B.Tech programs must have passed the 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. A minimum aggregate of 45% is required for general category candidates, while 40% is required for reserved categories (BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST). For PG programs, a relevant Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate is required along with a valid score in TANCET or GATE.
