Admission Process Flow
Admission to AIIMS Delhi is strictly based on national-level entrance examinations. For undergraduate courses (MBBS and BDS), candidates must qualify for the NEET-UG examination followed by counseling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). For postgraduate courses like MD, MS, and MDS, admissions are processed through the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) held twice a year (January and July sessions). Super-specialty (DM/M.Ch) admissions are conducted via the INI-SS entrance exam. The selection is highly competitive, often requiring candidates to be within the top 50–100 ranks nationally.
General Eligibility Criteria
For UG Programs (MBBS/BDS): Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing a minimum of 60% aggregate for General/OBC and 50% for SC/ST/PwD. The minimum age must be 17 years by December 31 of the admission year. For PG Programs (MD/MS/MDS): Candidates must hold a recognized MBBS or BDS degree with at least 55% aggregate marks and have completed a mandatory one-year rotating internship before the commencement of the course.
