Admission Process 2025-26

Admission to Aligarh Muslim University is competitive and primarily based on entrance examinations. The process is managed by the Office of the Controller of Examinations.

  • Medical and Dental (MBBS/BDS): Admission is strictly via NEET-UG scores followed by counseling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
  • Engineering (B.Tech/B.Arch): Candidates must appear for the Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination (AMUEEE).

General Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria vary by course. For B.Tech, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate marks. For MBBS, candidates must have 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and a valid NEET-UG score. For BA/B.Sc/B.Com, a minimum of 50% in 10+2 is required. For Postgraduate courses, a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field with at least 50% to 55% aggregate marks is mandatory.
