Admission Process Flow
The admission process at TIET is predominantly based on two modes for undergraduate B.E./B.Tech programs: Mode-1 (50% seats) is based on the JEE Main 2025 All India Rank, and Mode-2 (50% seats) is based on the merit of Class 12 marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Direct admission is granted to the top 5 rank holders of recognized board examinations. For postgraduate programs like M.Tech, admissions are through GATE scores or the TIET Entrance Test. MBA admissions require valid CAT/NMAT/XAT/GMAT scores followed by a video statement of purpose and a personal interview. Applications are accepted online through the official admission portal.
General Eligibility Criteria
For B.E./B.Tech (JEE Mode), candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST) in PCM and appeared for JEE Main 2025. For Board Merit Mode, a minimum of 70% aggregate in PCM (65% for SC/ST) is required. For M.Tech, a B.E./B.Tech degree with 60% aggregate is mandatory along with a valid GATE score. For MBA, a recognized Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks and a valid national-level entrance test score is required. Age and domicile-specific relaxations apply as per university norms.
