Admission Process Flow
The admission process at SIMATS is primarily entrance-based. For Medical (MBBS) and Dental (BDS) courses, candidates must qualify for NEET-UG and participate in MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) counseling. For Engineering (B.Tech), admission is through TNEA counseling or based on JEE Main scores. Management courses (MBA) require valid scores in CAT, MAT, or TANCET followed by an interview. Law admissions are conducted via the Saveetha Law Admission Test (SLAT) or CLAT/LSAT scores. Architecture applicants must qualify NATA.
General Eligibility Criteria
For Undergraduate medical and dental programs (MBBS/BDS), candidates need 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 10+2. B.Tech applicants require a minimum of 45-75% in 10+2 with PCM depending on the specialization. MBA aspirants must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate.
