Admission Process Flow
Admission to undergraduate B.E. and B.Tech programs is primarily conducted through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) single-window counseling process based on Class 12 merit. For postgraduate programs like M.E. and M.Tech, candidates are selected based on GATE or CEETA-PG scores. MBA and MCA admissions require a valid TANCET score or national-level entrance scores like CAT/MAT/ATMA. Lateral entry admissions for diploma holders and NRI/OCI quota applications are handled according to Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) and Anna University guidelines.
General Eligibility Criteria
For B.E./B.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, securing a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories). For M.E./M.Tech: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 50% marks and a valid GATE or CEETA-PG score. For MBA/MCA: A recognized Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks and a qualifying score in the respective entrance examinations.
