Admission Process Flow
For Undergraduate programs (B.E./B.Tech), admission is primarily through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling based on 10+2 merit scores. For Postgraduate programs, candidates must qualify for the TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) or GATE for M.E./M.Tech. MBA and MCA admissions are based on TANCET/MAT scores. Ph.D. admissions are conducted through Anna University's entrance and interview process.
General Eligibility Criteria
UG Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories). PG Eligibility: A relevant Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks and a valid score in GATE or TANCET. Lateral Entry: Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering are eligible for direct admission to the second year of B.E./B.Tech.
