Admission Process Flow
Admissions to the flagship B.Tech program are strictly based on JEE Main scores, followed by centralized counseling through JoSAA and CSAB. For M.Tech, candidates must qualify for GATE and participate in CCMT counseling. Admission to M.Sc programs is conducted through the CCMN counseling based on IIT JAM scores. Ph.D. admissions are processed twice a year (Autumn and Spring sessions) through an institute-level written test followed by a personal interview.
General Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD). A valid JEE Main rank is mandatory. For M.Tech: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA and a valid GATE score. For M.Sc: A B.Sc. degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks and a valid JAM score. For Ph.D.: A Master's degree in the relevant field with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
