Admission Process Flow

Admissions to the B.Tech and B.Arch programs are conducted through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) based on the All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main. For postgraduate programs like M.Tech and M.Plan, candidates must qualify for the GATE examination followed by CCMT counseling. Admission to the MCA program is based on the NIMCET entrance exam. M.Sc. admissions are facilitated through the CCMN counseling based on IIT JAM scores. Doctoral admissions involve an institute-level entrance test and an interview process, though candidates with national-level fellowships (NET/GATE) are often exempted from the written test.

General Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech programs, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and secured a minimum of 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. A valid JEE Main score is mandatory. For M.Tech, a Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in a relevant field with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA is required along with a valid GATE score. For B.Arch, candidates must qualify in JEE Main Paper 2 or NATA.
