Admission Process Flow
For B.Tech programs, admission is conducted through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, followed by centralized counseling via JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) and CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board). For M.Tech, candidates must possess a valid GATE score and participate in the CCMT (Centralized Counseling for M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan) process. Admission to Ph.D. programs is based on an institute-level entrance examination followed by a personal interview.
General Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with at least 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology. M.Tech: A minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in the relevant B.E./B.Tech degree from a recognized university. Ph.D.: A Master’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
