Admission Process Flow

Admission to MCODS Manipal is strictly based on national-level entrance examination scores. For the BDS program, candidates must qualify for the NEET UG exam. For the MDS program, qualifying the NEET MDS exam is mandatory. Following the entrance results, candidates must participate in the centralized counseling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Applicants must also register on the official MAHE portal and pay an application fee of INR 600. Final admission is confirmed after seat allotment during counseling, document verification, and payment of the first-year tuition fee.

General Eligibility Criteria

For the BDS program, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCB (relaxation for reserved categories) and must be NEET-UG qualified. For the MDS program, a candidate must possess a BDS degree from a college recognized by the Dental Council of India and must have completed a mandatory one-year rotating internship. Qualifying for the NEET-MDS examination is essential for PG admission. Certificate courses generally require a BDS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
