Admission Process Flow
Admissions are primarily conducted through national-level entrance exams followed by state counseling. Candidates must qualify for NEET-UG for the BDS program or NEET-MDS for the MDS program. After results are announced, eligible candidates must register for counseling via the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Seat allotment is based on merit, preference, and reservation policies of the Government of Karnataka.
General Eligibility Criteria
For BDS: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects with at least 50% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) and must be at least 17 years old. For MDS: Candidates must possess a BDS degree from a DCI-recognized institution and have completed their one-year compulsory rotatory internship.
