Admission Process Flow
Admissions to COEP are highly competitive. For B.Tech programs, 80% of seats are filled through the MHT-CET (Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test) and 20% through JEE Main for All India candidates, managed by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, via the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). General Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject, securing at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories). A valid score in MHT-CET or JEE Main is mandatory. For M.Tech: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) and a valid GATE score.
