Admission Process Flow

Admissions to COEP are highly competitive. For B.Tech programs, 80% of seats are filled through the MHT-CET (Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test) and 20% through JEE Main for All India candidates, managed by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, via the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). M.Tech admissions are based on valid GATE scores followed by the CAP process. Ph.D. admissions involve a University-conducted Research Program Entrance Test (RPET) and personal interviews. General Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject, securing at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories). A valid score in MHT-CET or JEE Main is mandatory. For M.Tech: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) and a valid GATE score.
