Admission Process Flow
Admission to BDS and MDS programs is strictly based on national-level entrance exams. For BDS, candidates must qualify for the NEET UG exam and participate in the counseling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for Central Universities. For MDS, admission is based on NEET MDS scores. The university does not conduct separate entrance tests for these dental programs. After seat allotment, candidates must undergo a medical fitness examination at AMU.
General Eligibility Criteria
BDS: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories). The minimum age must be 17 years by December 31st of the admission year. MDS: Candidates must possess a recognized BDS degree from a DCI-approved institution and must have completed a one-year compulsory rotatory internship by the prescribed deadline.
