Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB for General/OBC/EWS category (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
  • Must be at least 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the year of admission. Upper age limit is 25 years (30 years for reserved categories).
  • Must qualify NEET UG conducted by NTA. No separate entrance exam by Yenepoya for MBBS.
  • NRI and Foreign National candidates are also eligible to apply through MCC NRI quota.

Admission Process

Admission is strictly based on NEET UG score. For the 15% All India Quota seats, counselling is conducted by MCC at mcc.nic.in. For the remaining 85% State Quota seats (Management + Minority), counselling is conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority). As a minority institution, 50% of total seats are reserved for minority community applicants. Candidates must register on the respective counselling portal, fill and lock college preferences, and confirm the allotted seat by completing document verification and paying fees. The 1100+ bed Yenepoya Medical College Hospital provides extensive clinical training exposure to students. NEET UG 2025 General category All India Quota closing rank at Yenepoya was approximately 56,879.
