M.Tech. in VLSI Design

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks in graduation for General category (45% for reserved categories).
• Valid GATE or TANCET (CEETA PG) score is mandatory for full-time regular candidates.
• Preference is given to GATE-qualified candidates during the selection process.
• Final selection is based on entrance exam scores followed by TANCA counseling and document verification.

Admission Process for M.E./M.Tech Programs:

• Admission is primarily based on a valid GATE score (first preference) or TANCET (CEETA PG) score, followed by TANCA counseling.
• Candidates must register and apply online through the official Anna University admissions portal (www.annauniv.edu) for TANCA counseling.
• After shortlisting based on entrance exam scores, candidates are called for document verification at designated centers.
• The final merit list is prepared based on GATE/TANCET score, academic record, and reservation criteria as per Government of Tamil Nadu norms.
• Candidates who qualify through the counseling process must report to PSG College of Technology for final admission and fee payment.
• For the latest academic session (2026), the GATE COAP 2026 round 1 window opens on May 11, 2026, and TANCET 2026 exam was scheduled for May 9, 2026.
