Admission at NIT Delhi follows the central JoSAA/CSAB counseling process:
- Step 1: Qualify in the JEE Main examination with a rank that meets the required cutoff.
- Step 2: Register for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling, fill your choices, and include NIT Delhi's B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Step 3: Seats are allocated online based on your rank and preferences. Accept the offer online and pay the initial fee.
- Step 4: Visit the campus for document verification and final admission. Any vacant seats after JoSAA rounds are filled through CSAB.
Required Documents: JEE Main Admit Card & Scorecard, JoSAA Allotment Letter, Class 10th & 12th Mark Sheets/Certificates, Migration Certificate, Transfer Certificate, Character Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Medical Fitness Certificate, and Disability Certificate (if applicable).
