B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering

• Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• General category candidates require a minimum of 75% aggregate in 10+2 (65% for reserved categories) for admission consideration.
• Must appear and qualify for the JEE Main examination.
• Admission is strictly based on JEE Main rank and subsequent JoSAA/CSAB counseling.

Admission at NIT Delhi follows the central JoSAA/CSAB counseling process:

• Step 1: Qualify in the JEE Main examination, ensuring you achieve the required cutoff specified by NIT Delhi.
• Step 2: After JEE Main results, register online for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling at josaa.nic.in. Fill in your preferred choices, selecting NIT Delhi and your preferred branches (e.g., Computer Science and Engineering).
• Step 3: Based on your JEE Main rank, choices, and seat matrix, seats are allocated through online rounds. Candidates who accept an allotted seat must complete the payment of part of the fee.
• Step 4: Visit NIT Delhi for document verification and final admission confirmation. Seats remaining vacant after JoSAA are filled through the CSAB counseling process.

After selection, you must bring the following original documents for verification: JEE Main Admit Card & Scorecard, JoSAA Allotment Letter, Class 10th & 12th Mark Sheets/Certificates, Migration Certificate, Transfer Certificate, Character Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Medical Fitness Certificate, and Disability Certificate (if applicable).
