  • Valid GATE score in ME (Mechanical Engineering) paper. GATE score valid for 3 years.
  • IIT B.Tech with CPI ≥ 8.0 can apply without GATE.

  • Apply through COAP after GATE results.
  • Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering may conduct written test/interview for some specializations (e.g., CAD/CAM, Robotics).
  • Final selection via COAP rank and interview performance.
  • Reporting: Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Roorkee.

Specializations: Thermal Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Machine Design, Computer Aided Manufacturing, Robotics, Tribology, Industrial Engineering.
