M.Tech. in Software Engineering

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering, Information Sciences and Engineering (ISE), or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks in graduation for General category (45% for SC/ST/Category-1 candidates from Karnataka).
• Valid GATE score (CS) or a qualified score in Karnataka PGCET.
• Selection is based on entrance exam score followed by counselling.

Admission Process for M.Tech Programs:

• Admission is based on a valid GATE score or Karnataka PGCET.
• Candidates must register and apply online through the official MSRIT admissions portal (www.msrit.edu).
• After shortlisting based on entrance exam scores, candidates are called for counselling.
• The final merit list is prepared based on entrance exam score and academic record.
• Admissions are conducted through centralized counselling by Karnataka PGCET or GATE COAP for GATE-qualified candidates.
