GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)

• Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Arts/Commerce stream with English as a compulsory subject.
• Must have secured a minimum 40% aggregate marks in Class 12 (35% for SC/ST/PwD).
• Must be between 17 and 35 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
• Must be a citizen of India.
• Admission is merit-based on Class 12 marks. NEET UG is not required for GNM.

Admission to GNM at Kalka Nursing College is merit-based on Class 12 aggregate scores. Candidates apply online or visit the campus, fill the application form, and submit required documents. A merit list is prepared and published by the college. Shortlisted candidates must report for document verification and pay fees to confirm admission. GNM is a diploma-level nursing program recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Uttar Pradesh Nurses and Midwives Council (UPNMC), affiliated to ABVMU Lucknow. GNM graduates are eligible to appear for B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic and State Nursing Council registration. Hostel facility is available at Rs. 95,000 per year.
