Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with any stream including Science, Arts, or Commerce and English as a compulsory subject.
  • Must have secured a minimum 40% aggregate marks in Class 12 (35% for SC/ST/PwD).
  • Must be between 17 and 35 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
  • Female candidates only - as per INC and UPNMC norms, ANM is a female-only program.
  • Must be a citizen of India.
  • Admission is merit-based on Class 12 marks. NEET UG is not required for ANM.

Admission Process

Admission to ANM at Kalka Nursing College is merit-based on Class 12 aggregate scores. Candidates apply online or in person at the campus, fill the application form, and submit required documents. A merit list is published by the college and shortlisted candidates must report for document verification and fee payment to confirm admission. ANM is a diploma-level nursing program for women, recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and affiliated to ABVMU Lucknow. ANM graduates are eligible for Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife registration with the Uttar Pradesh Nurses and Midwives Council and can work as village health nurses, health workers, anganwadi health aides, and in primary health centres. Hostel facility is available for female students at Rs. 95,000 per year.
