B.Tech in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics

• Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
• Minimum 75% aggregate in PCM/PCB for General/OBC/EWS category; 65% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
• Must qualify JEE Advanced 2026.
• Admission is through JoSAA counselling based on JEE Advanced rank.

Fee Structure Breakdown

• Total tuition fee for 4-year B.Tech program: Rs. 8 Lakhs .
• Total fees (including caution and other charges): Rs. 11.94 Lakhs .
• Year 1 fees: Rs. 3.13 Lakhs .
• Hostel and mess charges: Approximately Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 32,000 per semester .
• SC/ST/PwD students are exempted from paying the tuition fee of Rs. 1,00,000 per semester .
