 MBBS/BDS  Admission In India

Admission in MBBS/BDS programs is offered through NEET-UG 2022 national level entrance exam. The NEET-UG is widely used by all Indian Medical Colleges for MBBS/BDS admission.

AIIMS and JIPMER admission is also done through NEET UG 2022 scores. Students who fulfill the given eligibility criteria can apply for NEET UG 2022.

Students must be an Indian citizen.

OCI students can also apply.

The minimum age for the student should be 17 years as of 31st December of the year of admission.

The maximum age is 25 years and 30 years for reserved categories.

Students should pass the 12th class with a PCB subject combination along with English as a compulsory subject.

The eligibility for state quota seats depends on the state counselling authorities. Candidates seeking admission to state quota seats will be required to at least obtain marks equal to NEET 2022 cut off but this sole requirement will not make them eligible for the state quota seats. There could be domicile requirements as well.

No, the result of NEET is valid for one year only. Therefore, the cutoff of NEET 2021 will only be considered for that particular year.

The qualifying percentile of NEET 2021 was 50 percentile for general category with corresponding scores range of 720-147, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40 percentile with the marks range of 146-119.
