M.Tech. in Computer Science and Information Security

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, or related discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA for General/OBC category; 55% marks for SC/ST/PwD category.
• Valid GATE score in a relevant paper is mandatory for full-time regular candidates.
• Candidates with MCA, M.Sc. in IT/Electronics/CS, or equivalent degrees with 60% marks are also eligible.
• Age limit: Candidate should be 35 years or less as on August 1st of the admission year.

Admission Process for M.Tech Programs:

• Admission is primarily based on a valid GATE score, followed by counselling conducted by the university or through IPU CET for certain programs.
• Candidates must first register and apply on the official NSUT admissions portal (nsut.ac.in).
• After shortlisting, candidates must participate in counselling to fill choices and accept offers.
• Selection may also include a written test and/or a personal interview as part of the final evaluation for some specializations.
• The final merit list is prepared based on GATE score, academic record, and performance in the interview.
• For the latest academic session (2026), the application process is expected to begin in May 2026.
• The tuition fee for most courses is approximately ₹ 2.09 Lakhs, ₹ 2.52 Lakhs, or ₹ 3.1 Lakhs.
