Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB for General category; 40% for SC/ST category as per DCI norms.
Must have completed at least 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the year of admission.
Must qualify NEET UG conducted by NTA.
Admission is through centralized counseling conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) for State Quota seats.

Fee Structure Breakdown
Total tuition fee for 5-year BDS course (Indian Nationals): Rs. 31.56 Lakhs (approx.).
Yearly tuition fee: Rs. 6.31 Lakhs (approx.) for Indian Nationals.
Private Quota: Rs. 6.30 Lakhs to Rs. 7.65 Lakhs per year.
NRI Quota: Rs. 9.80 Lakhs to Rs. 9.15 Lakhs per year.
Hostel fee: Rs. 1.00 Lakh to Rs. 1.50 Lakh per year (as per KAHER norms).
University Fee: Rs. 80,900 per year (approx.).
Student Facilities Fee: Rs. 21,750 per year.
Seat Matrix
Total BDS seats: 60 per year (DCI approved intake).
85% of seats are reserved under the State Quota (Karnataka counselling through KEA).
15% of seats are reserved under the All-India Quota.
Admission Process
Step 1: NEET UG: Candidates must qualify NEET UG 2026 conducted by NTA.
Step 2: Counseling Registration: Eligible candidates must register for centralized counseling through KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) for State Quota seats.
Step 3: Choice Filling & Seat Allotment: Candidates must fill in their college and course preferences. Seats are allotted based on NEET UG rank, category, and availability.
Step 4: Document Verification & Fee Payment: Upon seat allotment, candidates must report for document verification and pay the prescribed fee to confirm admission.
Post-Selection Reporting
Upon selection, candidates must report to the Faculty of Dental Sciences, M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, for document verification and fee payment.
Required Documents: NEET UG admit card and scorecard, KEA allotment letter, Class 10 & 12 mark sheets and certificates, Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate (if applicable), Category certificate (if applicable), PwD certificate (if applicable), Passport-size photographs, ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport), Medical fitness certificate, Anti-ragging undertaking.
