Eligibility Criteria

  • Master's degree in Engineering/Technology (M.E./M.Tech) in CSE/ECE/Biotechnology or related discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
  • Alternatively, Master's degree in Science (M.Sc.) in Life Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Valid GATE/UGC/CSIR JRF/DBT/INSPIRE score is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Selection is based on a written test and/or personal interview.

Admission Process

Admission Process for Ph.D. Programs:

  • Admissions are made through Regular admission process (Feb-April and Sep-Nov) as well as Rolling mode.
  • Candidates must register and apply online through the official IIIT-Delhi admissions portal (admissions.iiitd.ac.in).
  • Shortlisted candidates are called for a written test and/or personal interview.
  • The final selection is based on academic record, research proposal, and performance in the interview.
  • For the latest academic session (2026), the application deadline for the Monsoon session was April 8, 2026.

Total Tuition Fee: ₹ 1.50 Lakhs per year (waived for full-time Ph.D. students with teaching/research assistantship) | Institute Fellowship: ₹ 60,000 per month (including HRA) | Contingency Grant: ₹ 20,000 per year | International Travel Grant: Up to ₹ 2.5 Lakhs
