M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (VLSI & Embedded Systems)

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) in ECE/EE or allied areas from a recognized university.
• Minimum 65% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA for General/OBC category (60% for SC/ST/PwD).
• Valid GATE score (EC/EE/IN paper) is mandatory for GATE candidates.
• Non-GATE candidates with B.Tech/BE in ECE/EE (& its allied areas) or MSc in Electronics with 65% marks are also eligible to apply.
• Selection is based on entrance exam score (GATE/PGCAT-IIITD) followed by an interview.

Admission Process for M.Tech Programs:

• Admission is based on a valid GATE score or the university's own entrance exam (PGCAT-IIITD).
• Candidates must register and apply online through the official IIIT-Delhi admissions portal (admissions.iiitd.ac.in).
• GATE candidates are shortlisted based on GATE score and academic profile.
• Non-GATE candidates are shortlisted based on academic merit and may need to appear for the PGCAT-IIITD exam.
• Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview.
• The final merit list is prepared based on entrance exam score, academic record, and interview performance.
