Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB for General/OBC/EWS category; 40% for SC/ST category as per DCI and NMC norms.
Must qualify NEET UG conducted by NTA: 50th percentile for General/EWS, 40th for SC/ST/OBC.
Must have completed at least 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the year of admission.
Candidates must be medically fit as per DCI standards.

Fee Structure Breakdown
Total tuition for 5-year BDS course: INR 80,000.
Yearly tuition: INR 20,000.
Hostel fee: INR 1,200 per year.
Refundable caution deposit: INR 68,000 (as reported by some sources, may vary).
Total fee for entire course including hostel: Approx. INR 86,000.
Seat Matrix
Total BDS seats: 125.
15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats: Filled through MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) counselling.
85% State Quota seats: Filled through ACPUGMEC (Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses) Gujarat counselling.
Separate quotas for NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National candidates as per government norms.
Admission Process
Step 1: NEET UG: Candidates must appear for and qualify NEET UG conducted by NTA.
Step 2: Counselling Registration: Register for the respective counselling rounds based on quota:
For 15% AIQ seats: Register on the MCC portal (mcc.nic.in).
For 85% State Quota seats: Register on the ACPUGMEC Gujarat portal (medadmgujarat.org).
Step 3: Choice Filling & Locking: Fill in college and course preferences, including Government Dental College and Hospital, Ahmedabad.
Step 4: Seat Allotment: Participate in multiple rounds of counselling (Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round) based on NEET rank and choices.
Step 5: Reporting & Admission: Upon seat allotment, report to the allotted college for document verification and fee payment within the stipulated date.
