B.Tech in Information Technology

• Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM), and English as compulsory subjects from a recognized board.
• Minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCM (relaxation for reserved categories as per government norms).
• Must possess a valid score in JEE Main.
• Admission is strictly through JAC Delhi counselling based on JEE Main rank.

• Total tuition fee for the 4-year B.Tech program: Rs. 9.31 Lakhs .
• Year-wise tuition fee: 1st Year Rs. 2,29,000; 2nd Year Rs. 2,37,000; 3rd Year Rs. 2,47,000; 4th Year Rs. 2,66,000 .
• Hostel fee: Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per year .
• Average placement package (2025): Rs. 20-25 LPA for IT-related branches .
• Highest domestic package (2025): Rs. 85.3 LPA .

Admission Process

• Step 1: JEE Main: Candidates must appear for the JEE Main examination conducted by NTA.
• Step 2: JAC Delhi Counselling: Qualified candidates must register on the JAC Delhi portal (jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in), fill in their course and college preferences, and participate in multiple rounds of counselling.
• Step 3: Seat Allotment & Reporting: Upon seat allotment, candidates must report to DTU for document verification and fee payment.
