Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (40% for PwBD candidates) for General/OBC/SC/ST categories as per DCI and NMC norms.
  • Must have completed at least 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the year of admission.
  • Must qualify NEET UG conducted by NTA.
  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates are not eligible.
  • NRI candidates are eligible under the NRI quota as per Hon. Supreme Court of India order.
  • Candidates must be medically fit as per DCI and DMIHER standards for BDS admission.

Fee Structure Breakdown

  • Total tuition fee for 4-year BDS academic course (General/Indian category): INR 16 Lakhs to INR 20 Lakhs.
  • Annual tuition fee: INR 3.20 Lakhs to INR 4.75 Lakhs per year.
  • One-time admission fee: INR 50,000.
  • Hostel fee: INR 73,000 to INR 1,00,000 per year.

Seat Matrix

  • Total BDS seats: 100 per year (DCI approved intake).
  • 15% BDS Seats and 50% MDS Seats under All-India Quota at SPDC.
  • Admissions are based on NEET UG rank and centralized counseling.

Admission Process

  • Step 1: NEET UG: Candidates must appear for NEET UG conducted by NTA.
  • Step 2: Counselling Registration: Register for counseling on the MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) portal for All India Quota seats or the respective state counseling authority for state quota seats.
  • Step 3: Choice Filling: Fill in DMIHER's BDS program (under SPDC) as a preferred choice during the counseling process.
  • Step 4: Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on NEET UG rank, category, and preferences.
  • Step 5: Reporting: Upon seat allotment, candidates must report to the college for document verification and fee payment.

Post-Selection Reporting

  • Report to Sharad Pawar Dental College & Hospital, Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha, Maharashtra - 442001 within the stipulated date.
  • Documents required (Indian candidates): NEET UG admit card and scorecard, Counseling allotment letter, Class 10 mark sheet and certificate, Class 12 mark sheet and certificate, Transfer and Conduct Certificate from last institution, Migration Certificate if applicable, Domicile or nationality certificate, Category certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD if applicable, PwD certificate from competent authority if applicable, 8 recent passport-size photographs on white background, ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport/Driving License), Medical fitness certificate from a registered medical officer, Anti-ragging undertaking signed by candidate and parent/guardian.
  • Documents required (NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National candidates additionally): Passport and Visa of sponsor (proof of NRI status), Proof of relationship between sponsor and candidate, Notarized affidavit from sponsor confirming full course fee sponsorship, Embassy or Consulate certificate of sponsor (issued within last 6 months), Notarized Family Tree certified by Tehsildar, Annexure I issued by MCC for nationality conversion if applicable.
  • Fee payment through DMIHER online payment portal or Demand Draft in favour of Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research on the day of reporting; cash not accepted for seat confirmation.
